The grapes for come from vines near the village of La Chapelle Vaupelteigne, just west of 1er Cru Fourchaume. Gunmetal and oyster shell are the typical aromas here, and the wine is lean and racy on the palate with just enough stone-fruit richness to keep them from being austere.
